Professor R.V.S. Sundaram (Rallapalli Venkata Subbu Sundaram)  is a poet, scholar, critic, novelist, essayist, folklorist, and translator.

He has published more than 100 books in Telugu, Kannada and English.

He was Professor and Director at the University of Mysore.

He was also a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
